Happy Easter, Susie and everyone!

It got so chilly again in my neck of the woods that the Easter bunny will have to wear his long-johns while making the rounds!

Happy Easter. It's been in the 80s and gorgeous here. Now it's Easter weekend and we're getting ready for the sunrise service at the lake on Easter morning. The forecast? Sleet and freezing rain.

It does this every Easter.

It's lovely and sunny today, going to hit 70 tomorrow, cloud up on Saturday while I fight the lawn, then RAIN all day Sunday.

Tooooo much chocolate. But then again, is there ever too much chocolate???

Went to church this morning, and it was a wonderful, peaceful, hour. Needed that!

Family visited this week, we had eight people at one point, which isn't a lot in this family. On my side alone, there are eighteen. Then we drove the two miles along Ocean Avenue to my MILs house for Easter dinner.

Hope everyone had or is having a wonderful Easter day!

Damm, missed it again! This is the third year in a row I've missed Easter. So tricky as they keep moving the dates around, and when you live in a country where Easter is not celebrated, hence there are no eggs etc in the shops and no adds on the TV, it is hard to remember when it is on.

Happy Easter all!

I had a wonderful Easter Weekend. My girlfriend's son and his family came over to my place and we had pizza (I know it's a little unorthodox, but I didn't really want to make a ham dinner because I've had ham every year for the previous 34 years on Easter -- I wanted something different this time). It was a fun day and I truly enjoyed it.

I even had a chance to get some use out of my grandmother's old slate chalkboard, as they had two children about the age of six and seven. I'm glad they didn't have to just sit around and be quiet, because I remember oh, so well, how it was when I was a kid in someone else's place. Boring without something to do.

Anyway, I had a good, restful weekend. Overall it was pretty darned fun.
