I've seen more and more about E-Books lately, but I don't know what to make of this medium. Related to your work, could any of you give me an idea of...

Copies sold, and over what period of time?

Genre you write in?

Was your work published in hardback or soft cover, prior?

Did the E-Publisher provide advertising or marketing support (beyond
an initial blurb and the liner notes)?

And I guess the ultimate question: Did you get paid for what you
felt accurately reflected the number of copies sold?

Thanks.

Typically 100 copies in the first month, 300 in the first year--ranging from 50 to 1500 per title, total to date.

Erotica and romance, usually both

No

They sell mainly from their own wesites which have a following, also through ebook distributors. They provide some services such as sending out review copies, a blog and forum, yahoogroup etc.

Of course. I was paid fixed and agreed royalty amounts on each copy, reported monthly or quarterly, by honest publishers.
