Did anyone here fall hook, line, and sinker for this show? I did! :)

I haven't heard anything about Season 2, other than that there will be one. What's the buzz?

All I've heard is that there will be a second season.

Which is great, because I fell for the show too.

The actor is fantastic, and I never would have believed I could not only like, but truly feel for, a serial killer.

Fascinating stuff.

I'm totally in love with Michael C. Hall. I started watching Six Feet Under the same week Dexter premiered, and it was like watching two completely different actors. Can't wait for season 2.

I think it's great! I watched a lot of the episodes! The writing is just brilliant! And now matter how hard he tries, he can't keep DeeDee out of his lab!

Okay, I had to read this twice to find out he can't keep DeeDee out of his lab, instead of PeeDee.

I need coffee.

And making Mandark his arch-nemesis was a stroke of genius!

But alas, for his fatale weakness for......Racer D!

Is the show based on a book? I've never watched it. No cable, and all.

I'm really confused. Are we talking about Dexter's Laboratory?

Well, I'm talking about "Dexter," the series on either Showtime or HBO, about a serial killer who works in a Florida police department -- as a blood-spatter expert.

And, yes, it's based on a book. I believe the title is Darkly Dreaming Dexter. Something like that.

I have no idea what Pete and some of the others are talking about. LOL!

Where there is doom and gloom when things go boom.

:D

I'm sorry. The thread was just wide open, and there was Dexter's Lab playing The Justice Friends in the background, and I couldn't resist. Feel free to talk about Dexter now. :)

And yes, RT, it is based on the book Darkly Dreaming Dexter (http://www.amazon.com/Darkly-Dreaming-Dexter-Jeff-Lindsay/dp/0307277887/ref=pd_bbs_1/002-0492438-4544038?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1175520711&sr=8-1)

Not a bad book. I'm afraid I haven't seen the series, but I watch very little television anymore.

OMG, the Racer D episode was the BEST EVAH!

Well... okay, the one with the giant robots was pretty fawsome too...

Oh! I started this thread. I meant Dexter, the serial killer-blood spatter expert show on Showtime.

Which is kind of funny, given that Dexter on the Showtime series actually does do laboratory work . . .

...but I watch very little television anymore.I'm the same way, ever since Mork and Mindy went off the air. Same for you?

By the time Kotter came back, the light had gone out of my television life. I did not welcome him.
