I've never made it to 1000 on a board. Something always happens when I get to around 850. Either the server implodes or they switch to a new program or something.

I recall some Microsoft (?) page that tells how many Usenet newsgroup posts one has, and I've surely made several thousand. I'm active on many email lists as well, but this (the AW Water Cooler) is the most I've ever posted to a webboard. I've got over 400 and something posts here in only three months. It's all those Office Party threads... (or do those not count, or is it only TIO posts that, ahem, "don't count?" I forget)
I really ought to make a goal to be published by the time I hit 1,000. With almost 600 posts to go I could enter ten years' worth of the new weekly Sudden Fiction challenge.
