These photographs of many of Manhattan’s most prominent landmarks were taken in August of 2003 on a short holiday our own clock_work9 took to New York. They will be printed out at 8x10 or thereabouts - some are thinner/wider etc. All of the images are originals and will be printed by a professional digital imaging company on high quality photo paper.
Just take a look… the quality is outstanding; and even though the subjects are widely known, the presentation is quite different from anything I’ve ever seen. I believe you’ll be as moved as I was when Chris first sent them to me.
This is the New York stock exchange as taken facing south on Broad Street:
The Chrysler Building on Lexington Avenue:
The Empire State Building as seen from the corner of Park Avenue and 34th street:
The Banker's Trust Building on Liberty Street, heavily damaged during the collapse of the World Trade Centre:
The Koenig Sphere, also damaged during the collapse of the World Trade Centre and moved to Battery Park:
The Statue of Liberty:
And last, 5th Avenue:
The opening bid for each picture is $10. The auction is open now and runs until Wednesday evening, 8PM, CDT, March 28, 2007. Chris will pay postage to deliver them anywhere in the world. Please keep your bids in increments of $1.00 and don’t forget to tell me which picture(s) you’re bidding on!
