Any fans of South Park here?

So many favorite episodes. There's the one where Cartman decides that the fastest way to sell a million CDs -- and thus win something like a fifty-dollar bet with Kyle (or Stan, I forget which) -- is to start a Christian band. And he does, taking old and classic love songs and replacing "love" and "baby" and whatnot with "Jesus" -- leading to some hilariously inappropriate lyrics that the band's religious fans are only belatedly troubled by.

And the one where a primetime TV show is actually going to say the word "shit," and cursing becomes so casual that people are dying (or exploding; have you ever noticed that in South Park nobody just quietly dies?) and the boys have to team up with the Knights of Standards and Practices (LOL) to stop the end of the world.

I absolutely love the movie, have seen it countless times, and it tickles me that only Brian Boitano is treated gently, even if it is insane to think these kids would so revere a figure skater.

I love South Park insanity.

My favorite, though, has to be the very first episode. I mean, how can you possibly top "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe"?

Seriously?

Best South Park ever was when Cartman feed that kid his parents. That was the most insane thing.

Although the you got served one was good too.

The one last week about Cartman and Butter and the picture... that was just WRONG.

And Angelina Jolie and the lice colonies? WRONG WRONG WRONG.

I like the one where Cartman gets probed by the aliens.

General Disarray trying to destroy the ozone layer by spraying aerosol bottles into the atmosphere was pretty damn funny.

They fade out with dramatic questions like "WILL GENERAL DISARRAY SUCCEED IN HIS DIABOLICAL PLAN?? WE'LL FIND OUT.......RIGHT NOW. NO."

I've only seen one complete episode, "Bloody Mary," and that was online (like much of my "TV" watching thesedays), not on TV. But I've read news articles about other stories, as famous voice talents quit over their own sacred cows being slayed. I think I like these guys.

That's in my Top Ten list, no question. Just loved it. The whole Quest game was fun, and Cartman's wizard hat was a hoot, but Butters stole that episode.

And the one with Tom Cruise in the closet.

And the one bidding a "fond" goodbye to Chef. (Man, I would NOT want to be the one who crossed or otherwise pissed-off Matt and Trey!)

The Anal Probe, though. Still my fav.

(And whatever that says about me, I do not want to know!)

I'd been making bets with myself when the wounded lice was being transported (via fly) to his new home as to just where he was going. And when the lice in the new place said he was safe there, that they'd been living there for generations, well ...

I was right in my guess about the place on a body, and that it was a female body -- but I'd guessed Cartman's mom. LOL

Which, of course, is just WRONG!

My favorite is: "Simpsons did it!"

I saw the very first one, it was being passed around on video. Jesus and Santa Claus have a fight. It was hilarious.

Also there was one where the boys had a crush on thier teacher, and told CHef. Chef said she was a lesbian, but didn't want to tell the boys what that meant, so he said that it meant she only loved other lesbians. So then the boys wanted to be lesbians too. Oh man....
