View Full Version : Any fans of South Park here?

Judging by the avatars, I'd say so. :D

I have Paramount on just now. Thanks to virginmedia losing SkyOne, they've added a couple of other channels to make up for it (one other being Discovery).

So that means I get to watch a lot more South Park now.

At the moment, Cartman is crapping out of his mouth.

Does anyone have a favourite South Park moment or episode?

"Screw you guys! I'm goin' home!" and "Don't care! Don't care! Don't care!"

"Livinalie, livinalie, TIMMAAAYYYY!"

So many favorite episodes. There's the one where Cartman decides that the fastest way to sell a million CDs -- and thus win something like a fifty-dollar bet with Kyle (or Stan, I forget which) -- is to start a Christian band. And he does, taking old and classic love songs and replacing "love" and "baby" and whatnot with "Jesus" -- leading to some hilariously inappropriate lyrics that the band's religious fans are only belatedly troubled by.

And the one where a primetime TV show is actually going to say the word "shit," and cursing becomes so casual that people are dying (or exploding; have you ever noticed that in South Park nobody just quietly dies?) and the boys have to team up with the Knights of Standards and Practices (LOL) to stop the end of the world.

I absolutely love the movie, have seen it countless times, and it tickles me that only Brian Boitano is treated gently, even if it is insane to think these kids would so revere a figure skater.

I love South Park insanity.

My favorite, though, has to be the very first episode. I mean, how can you possibly top "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe"?

Or the LotR porno episode where Butters (bless 'im) turns into Gollum over Backdoor Sluts #9.

Oh, and let's not forget that John Edward is the biggest douchebag in the universe.

Best South Park ever was when Cartman feed that kid his parents. That was the most insane thing.

Although the you got served one was good too.

"Respect mah authoritah!"

Stan saying, "Oh no! There's nothing worse than Cartman when he's got authority!"

It just didn't sound right unless it ended with '-ah'. I loved seeing Cartman's family at Christmas and you could hear where he got it from; one of his uncles told him to respect his authoritah, and Cartman pootled away out of the room muttering "Screw your authoritah!"

The one last week about Cartman and Butter and the picture... that was just WRONG.

And Angelina Jolie and the lice colonies? WRONG WRONG WRONG.

"It's hard to be a Jew on Christmas...."

I like the one where Cartman gets probed by the aliens.

Taco-flavored kisses!

Butters as Ball-chin Boy on Maury Povich. :D

General Disarray trying to destroy the ozone layer by spraying aerosol bottles into the atmosphere was pretty damn funny.

They fade out with dramatic questions like "WILL GENERAL DISARRAY SUCCEED IN HIS DIABOLICAL PLAN?? WE'LL FIND OUT.......RIGHT NOW. NO."

I've only seen one complete episode, "Bloody Mary," and that was online (like much of my "TV" watching thesedays), not on TV. But I've read news articles about other stories, as famous voice talents quit over their own sacred cows being slayed. I think I like these guys.
Here's a site for those who have high-speed Internet. This is how all TV will be seen in the future (but hopefully with better resolution and frame speed):

Oh, Lemmiwinks! I'd forgotten that one!

That's in my Top Ten list, no question. Just loved it. The whole Quest game was fun, and Cartman's wizard hat was a hoot, but Butters stole that episode.

And the one with Tom Cruise in the closet.

And the one bidding a "fond" goodbye to Chef. (Man, I would NOT want to be the one who crossed or otherwise pissed-off Matt and Trey!)

The Anal Probe, though. Still my fav.

(And whatever that says about me, I do not want to know!)

And Angelina Jolie and the lice colonies? WRONG WRONG WRONG.

I'd been making bets with myself when the wounded lice was being transported (via fly) to his new home as to just where he was going. And when the lice in the new place said he was safe there, that they'd been living there for generations, well ...

I was right in my guess about the place on a body, and that it was a female body -- but I'd guessed Cartman's mom. LOL

Which, of course, is just WRONG!

My favorite is: "Simpsons did it!"

So how are you people making those South Park Avatars?

I saw the very first one, it was being passed around on video. Jesus and Santa Claus have a fight. It was hilarious.

Also there was one where the boys had a crush on thier teacher, and told CHef. Chef said she was a lesbian, but didn't want to tell the boys what that meant, so he said that it meant she only loved other lesbians. So then the boys wanted to be lesbians too. Oh man....

Salty chocolate balls!

Mr. Slave! Mr/Miss Garrison! Big Gay Al!

I have a special fondness for Cartman's Mother is a Dirty Slut.

You can watch all the episodes online here (http://www.southparkzone.com/).

I think I love you.

Just watched Miss Teacher Bangs A Boy. :D

You're totally welcome! I haven't seen the head lice one yet, so I'm going to watch that one a bit later.

03-27-2007, 02:21 AM
I'm going to watch ALL of them! :D

03-27-2007, 03:23 AM
I think the "Smug Cloud" episode was my favorite.

03-27-2007, 05:31 AM
How could anyone forget a South Park Critter Christmas. That whole episode was so unnessarry but so funny.

03-27-2007, 12:38 PM
I loved that one, too, Grand Duchess. Ditto Stupid Spoiled Whore Playset.

Sorry I'm late to the thread...just saw it.

LOVE the show (and movies - don't forget Team America; very underrated but very funny), huge fan. So many great episodes, hard to pick only a few. I do agree with Duchess about Critter Christmas, though: so wrong and so, so funny. And as another poster said, when Cartman makes that kid (Todd something-or-other, I think) eat his parents. Too funny.

Scott Tenorman Must Die! Yes, that's hysterical when they get shot for trying to rescue the wiener-eating pony. Then Cartman feeds the kid his parents in chili. All because Scott sold Cartman his pubes for $10.
