My hubby and I have settled on two boy names (he has vetoed EVERY other name I have ever thought of except, for some reason, my brother's name exactly).

Sooo... do you like either of our picks? Got your own suggestions? HELP! :)

Attn all: The baby is a BOY!

ETA: Our last name is Obeso (pronounced "obay-so") , if it helps. (I'm a writer... if I wanted to keep my name a secret, I should have stayed a waitress ;))

I've never thought a baby should be named after anyone else; they're a separate being and so deserve their own name.

I like the name Wolfgang Elvis Honeyblossom for a boy.

Orlando Eggplant?

"Mommy, where did my name come from? Was it from a famous great grandfather? Or a hero of yor?"

"Not exactly, O.E. See, your father and I couldn't decide, so I left it up to a bunch of nutjob, whacko, crazies, freaks, writers on an Internet board."

"What's a writer?"

I love Shawn. My husband and I were thinking Magnus Bradford if we ever have another. I know, we're freaks just like everyone else here. :tongue

"Mom, why do I lift my leg every time I get near a tree?"

"Because, Haggis, I listened to a bunch of freaks, one in particular, on a writer's board."

"But, Mom, that doesn't answer my question."

"Your namesake is a chihuahua, dear. Apparently, you've picked up his habits. Can you please hurry up, before someone sees you."

"Sure Mom, I'm almost done. I'd like to meet him..."

"No, no, he'll show you how to eat syringes, next!"

It's hard to say without knowing your last name (I'm NOT asking!)

I like the first two but I'm leaning something else....decisions, decisions.

ps. told ya they'd make you laugh. And you asked on Friday after a stressful week. If we don't give you what you need, ask us after we've calmed down. ;)

Where opinions have a distinct aroma.
My son will arrive on this planet within the next 4 weeks.
We've got a shit-load of names, Ethan, Callum, Dylun and Warren, all very strong Welsh names (except for Ethan, which is Hebrew).
We can't decide either.

I voted for Shawn Daniel. I love the name Shawn...and thank you for not spelling it Sean! :)

Congrats on the boy...they're tons of fun (if you like dirt and bugs and stuff like that, fortunately I do!)

That's exactly what we did.
You'll name him when you see him. And, unbelievably, you and the hubs will be in agreement at that time!
