Okay, you might have to be as old as I am to be able to guess this, but...

Maybe you're just a TV buff.

This old TV show ran from 1966-67. It was a spinoff from another show. The main characters names were April Dancer and Mark Slate.

Can you guess it? If you get it right, it's your turn.

Well, you must be as old as I am because that's right. Oh the memories. I even played Mark Slate when we performed The Girl From Uncle in my friend Debbie's garage for the neighborhood kids. Debbie and I wrote the script. She INSISTED upon playing April Dancer. She was bustier than I was at the time so she got the role.

Okay, you're next.

"As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly." -- Arthur Carlson, WKRP in Cinncinnati

Best episode EVER of that series, which BTW will be coming out on DVD soon.

Close enough.

It was Les Nessman who said that.

Your turn.

Sorry to disagree, Alleycat, but Carlson said it as the last line of the episode. Les was reporting from the shopping center and wasn't in on the scheme.

New clue:

Main characters are Uncle Martin and Tim O'Hara.

Okay, let's see. Got to make this a little harder.

If I put the characters names they can be googled. Guess I'll just have to go with a description.

The woman started a detective agency with a man's name.

Buying lies and stealing jokes.
Yay me. :)

Alright, a toughy but an easy to those in the know.

Clue -- one word, "Whoa!" Character's name was Joe, and this was pretty much his catch phrase.

I LOVE that episode! It's so funny because last night, for some insane reason, I had the theme song from WKRP stuck in my head and I haven't seen that show in years.

My second favorite line is from the one where Herb accidentally spray paints his daughter's frog pink. He brings it into the office (I guess to hide it until he can replace it) and Venus asks: "What's it's name?"

Herb: Greenpeace

Venus: Looks more like a pinkpeace to me.

I think of that every time I hear something about Greenpeace.

Chaos, you get the "dork of the year" award for knowing this. I, of course, am the dork of all-time for using this as a trivia question in the first place.

:e2woo:

Um...let's see....

Early nineties, one season. Two quotes for clues.

You touched my piece. NOBODY touches my piece!

And just for kicks:

Uh oh. You hit the sheriff
Yeah, but I did not hit the deputy.
