I found a manuscript in a box about 15 years ago. Bought it at an auction. The feeling of those at the auction was that the items were from the estate of a dead woman. The other day I came across the manuscript again, read it to make sure it was complete, and now I want to pass it on to the writer's heirs (or to the writer herself if she's still alive).
MOIRA KEARNEY is the author's name, according to the title page. I checked Amazon.com and didn't see anything in print under that name, nothing at Abebooks.com, nothing copyrighted at the USPTO. So I posted to a large genealogy forum, and now this.
The manuscript is a photocopied copy, so it's not the original. It was found in Austin, Texas.
Please contact me if you know the author or her family, or if you have suggestions on how I should proceed. The piece is dedicated "To my Children," so there might be some folks out there who would like to have this manuscript.
Thanks.
