I'd like to start a thread of resources for writers. If you have any, please send them to me or post them here and I'll see what I can do to get them organized. They can be either specific to a certain type of writing or generic and able to help all writers.

Either print or online is fine, but if online, please include the link. Thanks.

I don't know if this is really what you had in mind, but I find Holly Lisle's web site to be fantastic for fiction.

It has a whole area devoted to advice and information for writers. She writes mostly fantasy and paranormal romance, but a lot of the writer information is universal.

Her website is http://www.hollylisle.com

The latest edition to the Writer's Resource sticky is getting a very interesting reaction in my rep points.

With how much I meditate, I'm practically a Buddhist monk at this point. I should just move to Tibet. :D

I find http://www.poynter.org/ and http://www.newsu.org/ very good resources
for nonfiction writing-related advice.

Yeah, she posted on her blog about deleting them all. It's her prerogative and her right, to do that if she wants to, IMO.

It was in a different forum, too, Kimmi, but it looks like I Shrug deleted most of her posts, rendering the thread obsolete. It is every poster's right to do what they wish with their posts.

For example, I put words in mine. And Rllgthunder bangs with his feet.

I have a folder in my internet-browser favorites for journalism writing resources with stuff like how to find information (researching facts, gov. data, fun facts to add color to non-fiction writing, etc.). I also have a folder for narrative writing (fiction or non-fiction).

I have quite a bit of links, but if you're interested, I can export the links into an html file (too many to go through individually). Let me know.

Thank Sophia Rose for the new additions to the Resource sticky. She's sent me far more than that, but it's going to take me a little while to get them all up. I'm basically updating the thread in the odd few minutes.

No problem. Told ya I had a lot. :) I collect links as I go because I'm always looking for something.
