Enigma Books

Enigma Books has requested my manuscript, but I am skeptical, especially after sailing a few too many uncharted publishing seas of agency pirates and POD sharks. Has anyone had any dealings with them?

I've never heard of Enigma Books, but then again, I don't read many contemporary history books. The best advice I can give you is to do research on the publisher. Search their name online, buy one of their books and see what it looks like. Email them, ask questions about what they've published, what sales they've made, request a sample of their contract, etc.
