5000th post.

It's been a slow, long, at times bumpy, but mostly beautiful journey, but after being sent off into exile by a country that lost it's way, I was able to paddle my way upon the shores of AW. I throw a shout out to AquaDan.

And even though the natives and tribal leaders had great worries about allowing me to come ashore, maybe rightfully so, but I knew that my reputation was much worse than deserved, I think it's all worked out.

This is my home.

And I'm happy here. May god bless AW and may god continue to bless the United States of America.

There was no need for you to draw attention this monumental event.

Some of us were waiting in the dark with flowers and cake and party poppers, watching that "4999" number.

But it was your right to switch on the lights before we could shout "Surprise!"

I just can't think of anything appropriately solomn for the occasion.

I thought you were announcing that a sequel to the movie "300" was in development with a screenplay treatment by you.

But it's not. This is a deeply disappointing thread.
