For Jenna and Sarina

as old as life—
this life you hold
in cradled arms,
against the breast
inside which beats
a heart possessed,
awakened to
sensations new
and tender
beyond measure.

her gentle cries,
the clearest language
ever spoken;

in her eyes
the deepest mirror,
never broken.

I HATE free verse. I LOVED this. Amazing job, Will, well done.
