How would this be performed? A dark wave style I suppose, very gloomy and yet optimistic. As for the speed of it I'm not sure, any comments or advice are welcome. I really like this song especially.

The Cure told me to tell you that Shakespeare was wrong.

Falling down in time, a few thousand dead for a few thousand more,
How many me’s were sacrificed in the past?
How long can the man standing here last, a few minutes at least.
Just a few minutes more.

The further we go, the further we go the more we shrink,
The dreams get dreamier still and love gets even more impossible,
The future seems so hopeless and the past still gleams,
What does god want from me? My dizzy edge I think.

Once I was a magic man, a lot of dreams and lots of plans,
Spread all wings, check out the spans,
Where are we going?
Further than ever before, please don’t get any further away,
I want you to know that I’m in love with you.

I’m not really good at truth, but when it’s on the line,
I’m never a liar,
You once asked me, am I in love you,
And told me I’m so cold and quiet,
And I wish I could have told you it’s because,
I adore you.

Look at hundreds of purple clouds and smiling stars,
You’d never say it couldn’t be,
You were never that type of girl,
Well I’m never a liar,
And I wish I could explain to you it’s because,
I adore you.

Once I was a hopeless wreck, burnt out dreams and rotten husks,
Nothing but air to carry me and the ground to catch me,
Where am I going?
Nowhere nice, how wrong was that?
I want you to know, we’ve never met and I’m in love with you.

Melancholy beats and mystic words tell me I’m right,
You can understand that,
They sing what I wish I had the courage to say,
I only lie when I talk and when I sing-
Well I’m never a liar,
And I wish I could explain to it’s because,
I adore you.

This is more of punky song. More than that I can't say, scrawled the thing while half drunk and very pissed off at friends. I really like it though.

The next generation is a buying robot set to extinction.

Kid’s fly flags for sh*t they don’t understand,
You can’t grasp the fashion trends they say,
Well fuck that, they only last a day,
The flat line hits, our revolution just died.

Well what are we fighting for?
Fashion brand, you’re just a well dressed whore,
You can be brought by a f**king promotion,
What happened to our morals and notion?
Now each individual, each man,
Is under the Guevara and Nike plan.

You’ll fly a flag for any cause,
So long as it isn’t mine or yours,
Your rebellion will last as long as the hormones,
Your just one of the drones,
The pain on our streets now, how do we deal with that, how?
Go join your revolution, go fu*k yourself now.

Well what are we fighting for?
Fashion brand, you’re just a well dressed whore,
You can be brought by a f**king promotion,
What happened to our morals and notion,
Now each individual, each man,
Is under the Guevara and Nike plan.

All your words are trivial, voluntary trash,
All that matters these days is music and cash,
I’m pulling the gun, outwards I lash,
The down fall of this world, with a desert eagle crash.

Well what are we fighting for?
Fashion brand, you’re just a well dressed whore,
You can be brought by a f**king promotion,
What happened to our morals and notion?
Now each individual, each man,
Is under the Guevara and Nike plan.

OoOo! I really like this. I'm not sure what it is about the lyrics but they make me wish I could hear it. Bummer that I can't ><

Good job ^_^
