Hello folks,

When Alex Haley's book, Roots, was published in 1976, was distribution nationwide (USA only) or was it worldwide in the FIRST year?

The only answer I can come up with is that I read it (translated) pretty soon after it has been published. They made a TV series too. This may not answer your question in full though.
