Just got my cover sent to me from my editor at Hodder (UK) this morning. It's quite different from Warner's vision but I like it. Check it out:

I like it too. Very spiffy. Make sure you thank the design folks there. When I thanked mine they were flabbergasted. They told me they mostly hear criticism or nothing.

You bet I'm proud!

Here's a link to the US version, which is different:

Both have their advantages and disadvantages in my opinion.

I like the UK cover better, less geeky, but then again, when talking about letters to ebay geeky may be good.

Ooooo, I like it. It's actually much classier than the American version. Good on ya!

Very nice. I'm a big fan of these kinds of images on very white backgrounds kind of covers, if that makes sense. Basically I'm saying I like it.

I'm starting to fancy the UK version more. Less busy and leaves more to the imagination than the US version.

To quote my friend who's been with me from the genesis of my project:

See...now that's why I prefer the wit and subtley of English humor over the prosaic and asinine obviousness of American slapstick. You book is more worthy of an English crowd anyway. Not those daft wanks who feel it necessary to TELL the audience your book is "hilarious."

Stupid yanks.

He is considered a "Master of English" so he might be on to something. He was never a fan of the word "Hilarious" in the sub-title of the US version.

Very spiffy, indeed. I like the UK cover better too. However, both the versions are attention-grabbing. CONGRATS! :D

I actually used that stock photo (your US cover) in a project for a client recently. They saw it as being "too whimsical"

Good fit for your book, though!

I love the cacti - but the US cover is so bright and colourful that it calls out to the acquisitive preschooler in me. They are great covers.
