More appropriately for writerdog might be the Kia-Ora advert that plagued cinemas UK-wide alongside Pearl & Dean and Westler's Hot Dogs about ten years ago.

They are all snug in their beds, content, because they know what the thread is about. They have no concern over the writers who are staying up until wee hours of the morning wondering if writerdog is okay, or if Spooky is just teasing, or... <loses track of sentence because it is sooo darn late>

Well, you didn't like the lemonade one either, and it was funny(and very good advice).

Don't sit around and say, "boohoo, I'm such a victim." There are LOADS of people here at AW with disabilities, problems, and so forth. And instead of feeling sorry for themselves, they work their butts off to achieve things.

No one likes a whiner. Everyone loves that person who can turn the bad around and create something good out of it.

I believe I do, Pete! I don't believe we've gotten into the mnumberous benefits of PHENTERMINE yet, have we? Sure, it solves all problems physical, mental, and marital, but we haven't even gotten into the weight you'll lose, the endurance you'll gain, the lowered insurance, and the fashionable heart-shaped warts you grow yet! And don't get me started on the many stray, lovable, feline companions you'll gain!

There are many strange ideas, such as "PHENTERMINE is surely too expensive for a person on my income, I can't POSSIBLY enjoy its benefits!"

WRONG!

PHENTERMINE is an easy low monthly payment of $19.98, paid in unmarked bills to one of our trained collection agents on millions of street corners across the country!

Here here writerdog--

Ive been in those times myself but I just had to tell myself to stop sitting around crying in my beer and realize I have it better than alot people out there.

So I got off my duff - wait - let me start again....

So I got on my duff and started telling myself it is never too late to be what you always wanted to be. For me that is being a writer. Right now I'm busy trying to get the writing portion of my brain awake so I can start churning out stuff I feel like it is up to par. I did some freelance work while in college. I realized I had too much on my plate at the time so I had to quit, then came along marriage then baby. After my divorce I just didn't have the time for writing as I had an infant to take care of. Now that my DD is older and is able to entertain herself for longer periods, I'm starting to let the creative juices flow again. Better yet, I just opened the flood gates.

What does all this have to do with you? You just need to quit feeling sorry for yourself and let those creative floodgates swing open.

I don't know if your a Bible aficiando or not but here's a good quote from Proverbs -

A joyful heart makes a face cheerful; but a sad heart [produces] a broken spirit. (Prov. 15:13)

The more you feel sorry for yourself, the worse you're going to feel.

I'm not saying taking 25 pills day is easy, but you have to think - there are people out there that desperately need 25 pills a day but can't afford them and it is a life and death matter., for them anyway.

And yes, I'll be your friend. If you ever want to talk feel free to PM me.

Spooky, that's probably why those damn cats keep showing up on your doorstep.

Writerdog, keep your chin up, and get a second opinion about those pills. Sometimes they fight against each other. It happened to my grandmother.

Try not to get too upset. We all have problems, medical and emotional. Some more than others. Gosh, one of my writer friends watched her husband die in a car accident (drunk driver) and two weeks later, she's getting evicted. Sometimes bad things come in bunches, but if you stay strong, or at least try, you'll get through it. I'm hoping and praying that you'll find happiness.
