I got 16 -- which surprised me.

It seemed like my choice on each smile was influenced by the previous one: for example, if I thought smile #1 was real, I'd be more likely to think smile #2 was real.

I guess it would be, haha. I'm surprised -- I often find myself wearing a "fake" smile. Don't mean to. I wonder how many people take note of this.

I seemed to base my answer on whether the person remained smiley when done, or if they were able to go right into a stoic face again--then I thought it was fake.

But...they're all fake.

As far as I can tell, they are people in a lab setting who have been asked to smile for the camera. They aren't spontaneous smiles.

I got 17 right. But mostly I found it hard to decide. In real life, I really can tell by the eyes, and the general "feel" of the person. I know when someone's faking friendliness. It's hard from a photo or a video.

17 out of 20-better than I thought I was doing. I missed 1, 3, and 20. Personally, I was suspsicious of all of them. They all kind of looked fake to me- they reverted back to their "Grr,serious-in-front-of-camera" face after smiling, and that's what made me a little unsure.

I got 12 out of 20. I thought the same thing, too, about them all being fake because they're in a certain setting. But perhaps they just made some people genuinely smile by saying something, and with others, just asked them to fake a smile.
