So how will YOU celebrate it?

Poor Robby, no responses? Well, we're happy because Wiarton Willie predicted an early spring. I celebrated by going to work, and gloating at all my co-workers because I'm off next week. Mwahahaha!

Here's a tidbit: our groundhog Willie was an albino. About five years ago, he passed away unexpectedly, and the officials couldn't find another albino at such short notice. So they used a stuffed one, hoping to fool the public. They didn't.

Our new Willie's a regular gopher. Good job, Willie!

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don't forget your booties 'cause it's COOOOOOLD out there today...

It's cold out there every day...what is this, Miami Beach?

Not hardly...

I see Bill Murray in the background, cursing.

I celebrated by watching the movie. Haven't seen it for about five years, and I loved it all over again. *grin*

They did a reinactment of the early morning Groundhog/shadow scene yesterday morning...and the groundhog this year did not see his shadow.

Oh, did you sleep well, Mr. Conners?

I slept alone, Mrs. Lancaster...

Guess what. Rob did this same thing last year after I started a thread called It's Groundhog Day. And then I put "How will you celebrate it?"

Yes, it's deja vu all over again.

It's time to put on my nightgown and go to sleep.

Hey, who could go for some flapjacks?

I knew that Raymond was not going to repeat the nightgown line.

After all, once he switches his avatar back, people will see his face with the post: "It's time to put on my nightgown and go to sleep."

I thought this happened last year. I could have sworn we went through this before. I mean I woke up this morning and that song was on the radiom what's it now...

I wondered why the thread started on Saturday. How many are there out there? Is there another one for today?

Chumplet, in answer to your question, I started the thread on Friday. Rob just thinks he's being funny, doing the Groundhog Day routine.

Two of the houses used in the movie Groundhog Day are for sale....the Victorian used as the B&B where Bill Murray's character stays and the house where his piano teacher lives. They're actually on the same street-about half a block apart. Unfortunately, the big Victorian is slightly out of my price range <sigh>. Gorgeous house!

But then, maybe I'll win the Powerball....LOL....300 million would be some nice 'walking-around' money.

Take care -

Ooo.. is Powerball up in the 300s again? I'd never bought a lottery ticket until last year when it broke records, and I got sucked into an office pool.

I rarely buy a ticket...but 300 million...well...it's fun to dream. LOL

(Of course, if I actually go 'invisible' for a long time after tomorrow, it's just because....ummmm.....well......I'm just busy writing....)

I buy a ticket a week when I fill up at the gas station. Powerball is up to 300M and the Megamillion up to 180M I think...

Either would be nice.
