February 500 words/day thread--All genres welcome

Wow. Another month of this--it's great to see all the progress, and be inching along myself, word by word. I'm more tortoise than hare at my novel, but because of all you guys I am still plugging away.

I'm in again--of course. This thread really spurs me forward. I'm in editing right now, but I think after the weekend I'll be starting something new.

I've managed 500 a day so far. Although, something is nagging me about the beginning of my WIP. Bah, I'll figure it out after I get the first draft done.

You guys/gals make me want to write more.

I think I've managed an average of 500/day, but I just went 4 days in a row without writing a word, paid or otherwise. I made me sad.

Aw, Wildscribe. The thing is, feeling bad isn't going to help, you know. It isn't a useful emotion with this writing business, at least for me.

Did 5,000 words today bringing the WIP to 33,955 words. I felt really low earlier because I was stuck and I really didn't feel like writng. But I kept working through it and actually ended up having a lot of fun.

Just keep at it wildscribe i'm sure it will get back to being fun soon!

I went back to the cosy that I started a couple of months ago and wrote 1122 words today, for a new total of 7586. I think this one is going to be fun to write.

I think I've hit 500 so far today... it's been one of those days.

ETA: Almost 600 on my WIP, and almost 500 on an article for the freelance contest. Also, I sent out a couple of queries today.

1185 new words on my new ending yesterday. With superbowl weekend here I'm not sure how much I'll get done now (everybody and their brother is coming over for the party tomorrow), but I'm hopeful I'll have time and energy later tonight.
