Seriously. I look around and everyone seems to know everyone else.
There are reputable people: Uncle Jim, William, Medievalist, PeeDee...etc.

So does that make me a lurker?
I'm still a good guy--I may not have the most posts, or even the most brilliant posts. I've never had large amounts of reputation, nor have I been infamous.

But I have good qualities, I swear! I'm a good cook, loyal, I like to listen, and I have +53 Stamina.

What's it take to get a little respect around here?
Am I going to have to...*gulp*...get my hands dirty?

But I know how you feel. Sometimes I feel it too. But I read your posts. I'm getting to know you. Hang in there. A lot of these people have been around for years and many more just talk too much. :)

We can just hang out and let the ball roll. Sometimes it should roll down our lane.

Seriously, it kind of works both ways. Have you tried to get to know some of the people better who seem most interesting to you. Do you send others little rep comments, PMs, take part in the fun and games threads?

alley is confused as usual-yuk yuk-our alley-what a guy. Hey Akuma-we notice we do-hang about and do what yer doin'-write some stuff-chuck it around-jump in where the water's hot-it'll be fun. Try to ignore the rabid rabble-or maybe even become one-that might be fun as well!

But seriously, I sometimes feel the same way, and I've been around forever too.

And I rep, post sometimes, etc. But I don't send that many PMs. I always feel like I'm bothering someone. I have this problem in my offline life too, so it's not just here.

However, if someone sends me a PM, I'll talk your ear off all day long.

Undoubtedly. I keep myself honest by posting to the 500 Words a Day thread down in genre. No words, no playing around in AW. I'm on a three-day vacation at the moment, but tomorrow it's back to the grind. :D
