I guess a lot of stuff from my childhood.
TV shows like "Lost in Space," "Wild, Wild West," "Man from Uncle," "Combat!" etc. Or those comics from the Silver Age, like early Captain Americas by Jack Kirby or even the ones by Jim Sterenko. The very early Conan the Barbarians by Barry Smith. And of course, the classic rock of the 70s like Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Captain Beyond, Uriah Heep, Nektar, Magma, and so on.

Just to name a few.

ETA: Oh! And pulp heroes like The Shadow, Doc Savage, and such.

And the sword and sorcery books of my youth by the members of SAGA, like Lin Carter, John Jakes, Jack Vance, and so on!

ETA II: Oh! Oh! And the Blade movies. And Terminator movies. And the Underworld movies. And the old Universal monster movies. The Creature from the Black Lagoon rules! And the old Hammer Peter Cushing/Christopher Lee Dracula movies!

ETA III: Oh! Oh! Oh! And Old Time Radio shows! I love those things!

Spending one short day in the Emerald City
1) Stargate SG-1
2) Stargate Atlantis
3) Harry Potter
4) Babylon 5
5) Star Trek

And several others but these are my main. Honestly, I can recognize pretty much any episode of SG-1 and SGA from the first five seconds of the show X-D I can answer almost any question (except those about how Prometheus/Daedalus/Korolev/Oddysee work) ... teehee...

I'm a Harry Potter geek through and through.

Also shows from when I was a kid like Golden Girls, Designing Women, Growing Pains and Who's the Boss. I love Nick at Night.

From my script "When Geeks Attack"

MATT
You know what turns me on? Xena.
Xenobiology. The little toothy
mouth that shoots out of the
alien's outer mouth. Vorpal
bunnies with ferocious fangs.
10,000 orcs bred to destroy the
world of man. Any time a few stand
against many. Neo saying "No."
Captain Kirk saying "Fire!" Double-
bladed lightsabers. Stan Winston's
monsters. These nachos.

Yeah. I put a bunch of me in my characters. :p

Um, that's not geeky. That's just weird.

No it's not. It's postfeminist. My geekout list:

Knitting
Project Runway
Alton Brown
Firefly
Books (particularly mystery and sci fi)

DH is a major NASA and Star Trek geek so those are ancillary interests too.

Otaku sub-thread:

Who would win in a fight: Captain Kirk or Pakkun the Pug from Naruto?

And before you answer, remember: Pakkun's pads are soft and bouncy. Actually, they're REALLY SOFT AND BOUNCY!!!

Harry Potter, to be sure
Classic Disney animation
ROAR - that old series with Heath Ledger, before he was "Heath Ledger". LOVED THAT. Miss it.
Charmed, of course - seen every. single. episode.

Oh, and I'm geeking out about the fact I found this webite where I can get a beautiful purple jacquard fabric for just $6 a yard so I can make myself a new Faire dress.

So geeking out about that. Now I need to sell off some of my old Faire Wear.
