My CAT Scan Is Normal!

My general physician/family care practioner/whatever they call it next week called me at the office to tell me that my CAT scan came back normal! (Well, they didn't scan my brain. :tongue

) They found no cats, not even a furball.

This is the second CAT scan since the hysterectomy for uterine cancer (all the way back in 2004). So it was worth it to drink that awful drink with the dye in it.

A CAT scan beats a PET scan hands down. You never know what they're gonna use: Hamsters, Gerbils, Goats. At least with CATs you know what you're getting

I don't have a recipe. I didn't want to know what was in it.

You fast three hours before the scan and then show up about 90 minutes (I think) before the scan, and they give you two big styrofoam cups (like extra large sodas) with a sort of light greenish drink.

All right, I have to confess to reading the thread title...um...a few times. Hey, it's been a weird week. Sheesh!

First, I thought it said, "My Cat's Normal." Yeah, okay. W/ all the furry creatures wandering these halls, that could have meant...anything.

So, I read it again, after perusing a few other threads, and making a couple of phone calls. It still read exactly the same.

Then, I decided, I don't recall Anne ever having mentioned owning a cat, before...thank goodness I opened the thread :Hug2:
