one of the Page-a-Day calendars that has writing prompts?

I would really like something like that, but I've yet to see one. Somebody, somewhere has to have thought of it.

There's everything else under the sun, so why not this too?

I've just been thinking that a prompt a day would be good for my creative flow, but that I hate having to go find one. I'd like it to be right here on my desktop waiting for me.

Wow - what a great concept. Someone should propose this to one of the calendar publishers.

Not a calendar, but the book "Writer's Book of Days" by Judy Reeves has a prompt a day.

A friend gave me a 'Writers' Block' once. It was a 3" cube and had either a photo' or a prompt on each page.

It was amusing but didn't actually inspire any stories at all.

Was it for inspiration, or hitting yourself in the head with? 'Cause I'm thinking a lovely brick would help me pretty nicely.

I got the sequel, Creative Block, for Christmas. I haven't made any effort to use it yet (it's for when I am starting something new) but I've thumbed through, and I saw one exercise that looked really interesting. Write everything you know about everyone on your block, or floor. Man, could that ever get the creative juices flowing!

I checked Amazon, and while Writer's Digest does have those, one of the goals for what I want to do is to avoid the internet because then I just come and spend all my time here. Then I forget I was ever writing in the first place.
