Well, I'm glad the new year isn't breaking any old trends. -_-

Yay. Stood up without a word on Saturday by Kim, and stood up just now by Anna. If I wasn't already in a black mood, my father is making it worse by rubbing it in; "Gee, no one ever stood me up when I was your age."

Anna rescheduled with me for a thursday afternoon. Who wants to take a $50 bet that she stands me up then, too?

Wait...your dad doesn't remember things, so well, right? He's got dementia, right? So, you can't count on his memory being...intact on whether or not he's been stood up, at any age.

Who's Kim?

Who's Anna?

What happened w/ the letter you were writing to...to...I forgot her name.

Maybe, you're asking women who are beneath you, Bart. Aim higher.

I was stood up once. It was the first time I was glad my dad insisted on waiting with me until the guy showed up, because when he didn't, dad just bought me ice-cream and took me home.

And as far as I recall you are supposed to marry ME!!!!!! If I hear you mention another girl I'm sending the ring back, you hear?? :D

That was very sweet of your dad, Dama.

I used to, um...never mind. Suffice it to say, I don't recall being stood up ;)

Uh, Bart, you two-timing Dama. 'Cause if you are :box:you're gonna be in big trouble, ya hear.

A good policy for dating is to always make sure the other party is aware that there is, in fact, a date. This prevents these kinds of occurences, to some degree.

Hope this helps.

I invite you to bend over and allow a team of burly lumberjacks to crap a great redwood up your---<BANNED!>

But in all seriousness, you're the second person to suggest that this might be the problem. Both parties were fully aware of the date.

Mientras la gata es ausente, el ratón juega. :)

bart its pretty clear to everyone that you have not been following anyone's advice about women, particularly mine or billy's.

you couldve been something.

unfortunately, your love life is even sadder than opti's.

Bart wakes up on January 21, 2007 and realizes with sudden, mind-numbing, terrifying certainty...

That he's still Bart.

Sorry chap.

You should stop asking them out. That never works.

Asking a girl out is like explaining why a joke is funny.

Almost every solid relationship I know of started in some backwards accidental situation that neither party can properly explain anymore. Aim for that.

Not jail.

Holiday stuff. Apartment searching. Job hunting. Trying to spend quality time with my friends and family in Wisconsin, since I won't be seeing them very often for... maybe ever. Trying to spend quality time with my friends in Vegas. Rounding up my stuff which is strewn throughout the country. Finishing the DVD of my buddy's wedding, which was almost two years ago. Quitting smoking. Trying to bang out one last draft on my scripts. Figuring out what to do with my 401K. Switching banks, since my old bank isn't in California. Working full-time through all that.

I didn't intend not to log on for a month. It just kinda added up. Sorry.

Hope everything's well with you and the rest of AW.
