I am working on building my client base for copywriting services, and I'm having a problem with potential clients experiencing sticker shock. I'm usually the first copywriter who has quoted a price to these particular clients, so I'm not sure if that is why they are surprised or not. I based my rates on ranges that I've found in books and on the internet. Since I only have about five years of experience I charge on the low-to-mid end of the range compared to other copywriters.
I was wondering if anyone would want to pm me with their sales letter rates, and I'll pm them with mine. I just want to get a feel for what others here charge. So if you're comfortable with it just drop me a pm; I can pm you my rates first if you prefer.
