Did I buy that bottle of cologne? And why oh why did I actually put that on? There's a reason why I don't use cologne, and why oh why do I start now? Right now, I am wheezing, my eyes are itchy, I have a headache, and I smell like a pimp.

Mask the scent by eating garlic, fried onions and some stinky cheese. Don't be surprised if you get a seat to yourself at the movies later.

Club soda takes everything out of everything! So I've heard.

That's not cologne, Ray. You picked up a bottle of Colonial brand female deer urine. You need to stop shopping for toiletries in the sports department.

I saw this doctor on Oprah one day who was telling the audience that people really don't need to wear cologne, perfumes, etc.

He said people's natural scent smells the best to others. Now that doesn't mean people shouldn't wear deodorant. But he said something like, "I love the way my wife smells when she steps out of the shower." Just nice and clean.

And some people are allergic to perfumes and cologne. I sat next to a woman on the bus one day who overdid the stuff and I was gasping for air.

Ray, I can emphathize. I can't use cologne because it leaches into my skin, osmotically enters my bloodstream and soon it's circulating through my entire body. I can even taste it. My skin starts to ooze it out and it gets all clammy icky ooey.

Yuck.

Go wash it off and next time test on a small area of your skin before putting a "pimp" amount on.

Stick with natural, subtle scents

I always go natural. I have no idea what possessed me today.

p.s. three showers and a bottle of body wash later, I think I managed to get rid of half the smell.

I just roll in the dirt, like my dog does. That gives me that "earthy" scent some women are so crazy about.

Well that is subtle.. stinky, but subtle

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?
If you're having an allergic reaction, Ray, take some Benedryl, that should help. Won't solve the smell problem but will help the other symptoms.

I love perfumes - when people are rational about using them. The guy who smells up the elevator for 3 hours after he's used it is annoying. But a subtle whiff of something like Safari or Bvlgari *mmmmm*

LOL! Go take a shower dork. Wheezing is nothing to mess with. And open your windows and stick your shirt in a plastic bag until you can wash it.

Mac, daddy.

I did wash it off and open the window. Then my headache got so bad I took two aspirins and went to bed. I think I was allergic to it. I felt so bad, like something was invading my body. And to think I actually paid money for this?!

I saw Matthew McConaughey on a talkshow once and he mentioned that he doesn't wear deodorant, cologne or anything else that smells because it interferes with his pheromones. Apparently no one told him women love him no matter what he's wearing (or not wearing!) I've never smelled him but I'd take him. Pheromones got nothing to do with it! :D

Hope you're feeling better Ray!
