Anyone have any experience with these "boot camps"? They look to be 2 days in length with a cost of about $100, plus it includes time with 'editors' and even a free critique of your first 25 pages. However, the one I'm looking at in April (Indy) doesn't list which editors/agents are going to be there. Maybe it's too early to list them, but I was wondering if anyone here's ever gone to one of these before?

Also, is there a central place/website that lists ALL known writers conferences coming up in 2007?

My main reservation about this particular conference is that the organizers seem to be tied in with AuthorHouse - a POD company that's had some discussion on the Bewares and Background Checks Forum (http://absolutewrite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=924&).

Couldn't speak for the quality of any of the rest of it.

Uh oh...thanks Cath. Maybe that's "strike 2", then.
