Personal trouble has caused me to not care about any further creative effort. It's been nice knowing all of you and I wish you the best.

I'm not sure that people are allowed to leave here before I get to know them....

How about we grant you a leave of absence? You tend to your personal business and we'll keep a light on for you.

Deal?

Deal.

:)

Things change. I don't think there's a readmission fee.

Come back when things are better.

Rick,

I was glad to see you come and I'm sorry to see you go. I'm so sorry you've got major troubles. I hope they are resolved as soon as possible in the best possible way. With six kids, there are so many opportunities for heartbreak, as well as joy, so I'm worried about you and your family. Please come back an let us know how you are from time to time.

Rick, I hope your personal troubles are temporary. If so, don't make permanent changes, like foregoing the creativity that is probably a great outlet for you. At least you have no end of subject material and experience. Hope to see your avatar again soon!

A leave of absense is allowed, but no one ever really leaves AW.

All the best to you, in the meantime :)

Janet;
I did receive your email and was genuinely touched by your kindness. I'm sorry I didn't reply, but I usually don't reply to females as a matter of course. That way, there's no reason for a shadow of doubt to creep into my wife's mind as to why I'm doing so. Really, it's just one of my quirks and a common courtesy I extend to my dear Mrs. She isn't a prying person, so I want to make sure she never has any reason to doubt my heart's singular allegiance to her.
Many blessings to you, Janet. It's great to have such good friends all over the world. How far from Orilla are you? My Mom's favorite singer, Gordon Lightfoot, is from there.

Rick

I never reply to women who e-mail me neiver, on account of I'd have to make it a full time job.

:)

(my wife isn't suspicious; if I said "Honey, I'm having a wild affair" she would say "Yeh, right, come help me in the kitchen." and believe not a word of it....which I would complain about, but she's right...)
