Well I received it today when to returned home from work.
Basically the standard rejection form with a note saying to work on technical elements, subject and grammar.
Oh well... its my first and i'm sure I will receive many more.

You should be very proud! Congrats! Oddly this is an exciting moment, it is the path everyone goes down. It means you are brave enough to actually send your stuff out there. Just keep going down the path, you'll get there!

Sure sorry that happened, Brainstorm, but I know you'll keep sending them out and get acceptances soon!

Ah, heck. Don't let them disqualify you on a technicality--make them read far enough to dis your story!

Honestly, polish stuff before you send it out. Make it as technically perfect as possible, and you'll instantly get farther than the folks who send out error-ridden subs.

Best of luck in the future!

Congratulations! You're already well ahead of millions of people who write but never have the guts to put their work out there by submitting.

Onward, ever onward! :)

I got one that said, "Sorry I'm going to decline, I didn't feel your enthusiasm." So I wrote her another one full of crapy happiness and recieved the same letter again.

It'll be in a line of many as you said. Keep trying.

Keep sending those query letters out. Best of luck with your future queries. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before your work finds the right home. :)

I think I am going to rewrite the novel... I do believe in the story and my writing. with a bit of polishing I think it would be worth trying again. :)

Comfort yourself that it didn't sound like they were chewing you out for having the nerve to submit to them in the first place, as my first rejection did.
