oh. How interesting. I don't know that I've ever referred anyone specifically to this board, though I talk about it enough that smoeone may have come here because of me (who knows?). Certainly, I've never used that link.

Very interesting. I've started a whole thread now when I should have just dug deeper into the FAQs... :)

Huh. I need to figure out how to get the most referrals now, too.

I never paid attention to it before, but I just noticed today that it's suddenly at One. Puzzled me.

Too bad. Mac will be charging you five bucks for the extra bandwidth.

Since we're on the subject, which thread display option do you use? I use threaded (Newest first) so the latest post is at the top of the screen.

You can do that? I'm changing mine now!

ETA: it didn't work.

ETA again: how cool is that?

Er. I have no idea. I just use whatever the defaulted setting was. In fact, I was pretty impressed with myself the toher day when I Did Something Different and actually used the "new Posts" page.

Beats scrolling to the bottom of the page to see the new posts, jbal.

I don't think much of *THAT* feature. I changed it back pretty quick. I like scrolling down to the new posts. It keeps them in a logical order in my head, especially when I have a lot of thread to read.

OK, I just realized it makes the page nbumbers go backwards too. Too confusing, I'm going back.

Yeah, it takes some time to get use to. Try going into one of the 'Write something about the person above/below you' the first time you've changed it. Gotta think in reverse.
