I kick so much ass! Oh yeah!

Take 2 cups of milk
Add 2 tbsp of cocoa, unsweetened
Sugar to taste and bring to a simmer
add vanilla flavoring
THEN!
Add 1 1/2 tsps of cinnamon
3/4 tsps of ginger
a dash of nutmeg
a dash of cloves
and just a pinch of salt. (Antifreeze IS optional, if serving to unpleasant family members. If adding antifreeze, cut sugar down to 3/4 what you'd normally put in. It's pretty sweet stuff!)

Let simmer until you say "OK, that's enough simmering I guess" and drink it until you say "Oh dear God, my hip just went out because this stuff kicks so much ass".

Go ahead. It's okay.

*OR* until you go into a diabetic coma. You can stop drinking then too.

I prefer this:

Put your usual measure of instant coffee into a mug. Add boiling water.
Carefully measure out 35ml of brandy. Drink it.
Now slosh some brandy into the coffee.

Whipped cream optional but tasty.

That'll warm your cockles.

You know, sometimes you just have to mix stuff together until it's edible. My personal favorite "can't beleive I'm eating this" treat:

Melt 2 - 3 Tbsp butter in the microwave (not margarine, use the real stuff). Once it's melted, add 2 packets of equal and a half cup of graham cracker crumbs. Stir until blended, and eat warm, with a spoon. mmmmm.

Yeah, it's a bowl of pie crust. And damn, it's good.

Completely sideways, man
OMG, that's too cool. I thought hubby and I were the only ones who mixed together weird concoctions that we wouldn't admit to anyone!

He had one favorite that he ate every day until now he can't stand the thought of it, but some of you might like it. He called it an oatmeal sandwich. You'll need:

Two frozen waffles of any variety. Blueberry is pretty good.
A package of instant oatmeal of any variety.
One banana or other fruit

Toast the waffles, cook the oatmeal and slice the fruit. Plop a gob of oatmeal onto a waffle. Arrange fruit on top of the oatmeal. Top with the other waffle.

And there you have it - an oatmeal sandwich!

The oatmeal sandwich actually seems like it'd be pretty good. Now I'm curious....

Best mixed food ever: A bacon lettuce and tomatoe sandwhich in which you spread quite a lot of Nacho Cheese Doritoes. Also, you make your sandwhich speak to your friends before eating it.

It probably helps if you're sixteen and have been up all night wiht your friends, though.

(It IS tasty.)

If we're talking sandwiches:

slice some bread and toast it.

Fry up some bacon, cut some cheese.

slather too much Branston pickle on the bread. slap the bacon on to it. Then the cheese. Put the lid on it.

If you time it right, the cheese'll be melty by the time you munch it.

May not be good for the body, but sure is good for the soul.

My wife would adore that, but I could really do without the pickle. Blech.

Great. Now I'm hungry. Fried chicken, anyone?

They don't put nearly enough spices on their chicken. Or cook it long enough. I like some crunch.

.....but I'm game. Buffet it is! You can't beat KFC for coleslaw, or biscuits.

I agree, they should let me back there to make the chicken. Even if I don't make the perfect chicken, the kitchen fire will ensure a delightfully crispy skin.

I sucked some coleslaw up my nose as a kid (about 2 days after inhaling a whole bottle of bubbles, actually) and haven't touched it since. I can still feel the gooey cabbage slathering itself against my sinuses....

You know, I thought it would, but the force of the sneeze (90 mph, I found out) lodged the coleslaw pieces up into some odd corner of the "anything that touches this will make you sneeze over and over and over" nerve.

LOL- Add me to the weird concoctions fan club. My kids eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches (yummy) and peanut butter and catsup sandwiches (icky). Have you ever grilled peanut butter and jelly? Do it just like grilled cheese but with PB & J or PB & honey. Divine!
