The year is ending on a good note for me. As I posted earlier, a poem was accepted by a lit mag last Friday. Today, along with some late Xmas cards, the (snail) mailbox had another acceptance letter for another poem of mine. As part of the acceptance, I get a free two year subscription to the magazine, something I hadn't realized--which will be the first time I've gotten more than contributor copies for the issue my work appears in. Which is still more or less the same thing, but I'm choosing to interpret it as a small step up.
