A Milestone

I just want to take this opportunity to thank the person who gave me my 1000th rep point.

Unfortunately, I don't know who that is, yet. But I am 16 rps away from finding out.

I do not want anyone to give me a pity RP or pre-congratulatory RP. Nor do I want to use this as a solicitation for RPs. I am just reserving this space for the momentous occasion.

So, what you're saying is that you enjoy being vain. That is fun. I know what it's like to have many rep points. I believe I had 400-500 under my former name. That name had less than half the posts you do.

I have 236 RPs under this name. That is roughly 2 rep points per post. I'd have 10 more if Mac hadn't spanked me once.

I would have 6,250 if I had your post count.

I think than means I was/am more loved.

But, I'm glad you are loved 1/6 as much.

If I understand what you're saying Spork, it's that no matter how vain I am (and I am extraordinarily vain), I can't possibly hope to be more vain than you?

And not only that, but since posts are weighted by where you post, it's clear that you only post in zones that don't add post numbers, but I do. Therefore I think your numbers may be awry.

I believe you are saying that I am more vain. I do not agree. To be vain is to have a false belief.

I am saying that I am more loved. That belief is not false.

Therefore, I am not vain.

I get 0.57 rep points per post.

I get 0.25 more love than Dave per post.

Math has proved that I am still more loved.

I'm all agog with admiration. My fuzzy math suggests it'll be at least 3.5 more years before I reach 1,000 rep points. Sigh. Always the class slut, never the prom queen.

Sounds like more fuzzy math to me, but every one I've given him was well deserved I assure you.

I don't just throw around rep points.

Especially since they are a limited resource, like bandwith, and the liberals won't let us drill for them anywhere.

Billy has given me many rep points, and is my leading RP'er, but only by 4 more points than Mac (counting mac's as 10 points each).

What's amazing about Spork's rep point count is that he must have SIGNIFICANTLY *more* points than that, to counteract all the negative ones, don't you think?

How does that work? If a person has 50 rep points and they get a negative rep point, do they then have 49 rep points or 51?

49. Since I have 6 negative rep points, I'm actually OVER 1000 postitive RPs, but the system counts cumulatively positive AND negative.
