I have a dimn memorythat at least one of the major western novellists was British and there there was a name for westerns written by foreigners, I think it involved the word 'coyote'. Anyone know?

J.T. Edson was the author, and the term used was “coyote-in-the-sky Westerns”

I am now hunting for thr apocryphal flying coyote. I saw one suggestion that if it existed it may have been in a John Creasey book....

If all else fails you can ask Mac, she is the coyote expert. :)
