I’ll start with three helpful books that were mentioned in earlier threads.
"Careers for Nonconformists" by Sandra Gurvis was mentioned as being helpful.
You'll also find Kendall Hanson's book, Writing for Trade Magazines, enormously helpful.
I can’t stress enough the importance of perusing Writer’s Market.
