I don't have a recording of any of my songs to post, but...

I thought you guys might like hearing my son singing one of his songs.

He is the keyboard player for a local group called Shryne.

If you go to www.myspace.com/shryne

Look on the right-hand side for the box with samples of their songs. Click on Deep Inside. My son wrote the song and sings lead.

Powerful ending. Very nice. You must have been a strong influence. Maybe not intentionally. Thank you.

I honestly tried to listen. It says it's playing but the bar doesn't move and I hear nothing. Probably me or this crappy machine I'm on. I'll try again tomorrow.

Well get on that, dude, why don't ya. :)

I'm expanding this post which seems absurd, but necessary, since I am involved in a writing experiment.

You'll pardon me, Jon, if I elaborate a bit on what I posted originally here even though you might end up being bored to tears.

What I was trying to convey to you was that you ought to give that song a listen, you know the one my son wrote and sings, because I think you'll like it.

And now I'm ending this post because it's getting ridiculous and in fact you've already told me in another post that you've listened to it.

Yes, ma'am. Worked this time. Very good stuff. Where do they record? studio, or home studio?
Also, tell the drummer to settle down toward the end there.

Um, you're asking where do they record? I'm pretty sure it's at Jeff's house because he is the drummer and it's easier for them to bring guitars and Alex's keyboard to Jeff's house than him having to lug all those drum sections somewhere else. I think they record some of it there and then my son does mixing and such on his computer equipment at home, don't ya know.

I'll tell him but he'll probably just laugh at me.

I've just expanded this post, Jon, because I'm involved in an exercise which forces me to use lengthy sentences and at least 5 of them to boot.

I'll explain so that Kathy doesn't have to fill five sentences. Check the thread in TIO that says something about a writing style experiment. A bunch of Awers volunteered to apply certain rules to their posts for a week, to be determined by others.
