I received a partial back. It was sent to a big, famous agent that you all know. Along with the form letter she wrote a personal paragraph to me! It was very positive.

Out of respect to her I will not put it here word for word but she did say that she liked it and hopes I keep trying other agents.

If I pasted her message here, you'd see what I mean. I dont want to do that though, so even though it might sound lame, it really is a good news.

I've very excited!

And I am very excited for you :)

That's fantastic - in as much as it is still a rejection - it's definitely the best kind of No one can hope to hear!

So keep trying other agents!! (that's an order)

Congrats! It's not an acceptance, but it's the best kind of rejection there is. :) I love it when I get personal notes from editors or agents telling me they "liked it, but...."

It means I'm getting close. :D

Congrats, Jack! :)
It's a great feeling when someone who truly knows good writing when they see it takes the time to say so. You're getting closer! :)

That's great news. Those are the best kind of rejections to get, and they make you want to keep going.
