It's 6 degrees fahrenheit outside (hey! it's warming up, it was 4!) and the computer is in the basement. Granted it's a finished rec room, but still. HEAT RISES!

My hands feel like ice. I've got three layers of shirts on. And a knit cap.

If it stays this cold all winter I'm going to get very little writing done.

Send hot cocoa!

You know those gloves that you can get to treat dry skin? (They are thermal gloves designed to trap body heat. They are very thin and really for people with skin problems. You put on the cream, you put on the gloves and go to sleep)

Anyway...buy a pair of those and snip out the fingers.

If that doesn't work I'll whisper suggestive phrases in your ear until you get hot.

Space heater actually sounds like a good idea. However, single digits and below aren't normal around here. At least they haven't been for several years now. In fact, the last time we had a subzero cold wave of any significance was sometime in the '80s.

And it's up to 7 now. Almost tolerable. :D

Get a bucket of really hot water and stick your feet in it.

.... Or better yet, move your computer upstairs!

Are you kidding? The temperature just now (at 11:30 in the morning, on a sunny day) got to 5 degrees. And with the stiff wind, it's -10 outside. I can barely type.

Come on, Ferret, we're going on Holiday.

She knows! She has them over her kid's heads at night while they sleep.

Poor little cold darlings. come to Aunt Terri's house where we have already opened the vents. But you don't get hot chocolate! You could stain the carpet. And no shrimp!

Why do you insist on living where the weather is only fit for polar bears, seals, and walrii???

I have the thermostat on the a/c set at 72F here at work. Outside is warmer.

:D:D:D

Because soon, it's sex talk Tuesday.

First, I like seasons.

Second, as odd as it sounds, I actually do like to have a white Christmas.

Third, heat makes me pass out. If it's warmer than 72F outside where you are in the winter, than in the summer I'd be just miserable.
