Have you heard about this story? A woman and her son have been charged for pretending the son was retarded and bilking the government out of money for nearly two decades.
They were found out when the son appeared in traffic court to talk his way out of a ticket. Not very bright, of course, but not bad for a man who supposedly had the mental capacity of a toddler.
I sorta kinda feel sad for the guy, though, because his mother has been teaching him to fake retardation for 8 years. Sounds like he didn't have a chance to learn about, you know, things like honest and decency.
