I check the forums I'm active in at least every 5 minutes. Is it honestly too hard to have someone reply to me in those threads (and toss some rps while they're at it) on a similar time table? Sometimes I have to wait upwards of 15-20 minutes for a reply, and I feel like I've either missed the mark with the post, or there's been some technical glitch, or all of my friends up and died at once.

Also, I guess this should go in the "obsessive rp" thread, but if I don't get an RP on a post within said 5 minutes, I wonder what I did wrong to piss everyone off again.

Goodness. Would it make you feel better if I told you I've named a character after you in my NaNo novel? Do you feel loved now?

I think we're both wired the same way. I always want forum replies to come sooner. If you think of it as email instead of chat, it helps.

Oh, missed you, too.

They turned off post counts for this and TIO (and broke TIO into rabid/not rabid sections) Ray. So you should probably spend some time in other forums too if you want to keep your post count up.

With almost 18,000 posts, I think that's the least of my concern. I do have a lot of posts in other forums, but you may not have noticed. :)

Thanks, stew. And I desperately want you to take a look at my christmas contest entry, but I guess that has to wait until voting's over so I don't give away which one is mine.

Can't wait to read it.

I have to write one too, but haven't managed to do it yet. I keep thinking about it, but guess the only way it's going to happen is if I just write the thing, eh?
(and I have so many AW people poems to do still.)

I read your Theme Me #5 - excellent work!

Thanks, Stew. I'm no big fan of structured poetry, but I like to get my hands dirty every now and then. Makes you stay honest.

5- and 6-syllable words in iambic, that was awesome. And the ABAB CDCD rhyme scheme... I toyed very briefly with making it an actual Shakespearian sonnet, but then decided against it.

I love your RP comments, Gclare.

We must be distant relatives... you're probably really gclary, but were afraid to use the Y on the end.
