Hillary Clinton today announced that she would begin fundraising for an exploratory look at the 2008 presidential campaign by selling World's Finest Chocolate Bars.
Long considered the gold standard in fundraising products, World's Finest offers three varieties: Milk Chocolate with Almonds, Crisped Rice, and Soft Caramel. They also include a valuable $2 off any footlong Subway Sandwich coupon on the wrapper. Bars cost supporters of Mrs. Clinton $1.00, of which she gets to pocket 50 cents as fundraising profit.
Asked about it, Clinton said "Well, Bill's gonna eat a hundred or so of them, and Chelsea can pass them out to her friends. We're hoping to raise a really good amount of money."
