So I usually don't do this type of thing, but my sister's been at the doctor's office/hospital all day. She was up all night with stomach pains, and she's having a CAT Scan now to see rule out an appendicitis. I'm sure it's probably something simple, but I tend to be an overanalyzer and worry wart. :(

Thanks, guys, you're the BESTEST!!! :D

Vibes heading towards you and your sister. You might want to duck, it can get a little fuzzy when they all hit you at once.

Seriously, hope all is well. :Hug2:

Many positive thoughts on the way. And if laughter truly is the best medicine, then your sister actually has two doctors...you've had us laughing for days. Good news soon...

I'm not sure how to take this....thanks, I think. :)

If a certain somebody would return the vibrator, I'd find this whole good-vibes thing ever so much easier. As it is, I'm doing the best I can without battery-operated assistance.

Maryn, hoping her arm doesn't tire, and wishing the best for your sister

UPDATE: She was admitted to the hospital Tues. night, given IV fluids and had a high fever. They think it's some bacterial infection, so they gave her antibiotics and sent her home yesterday.

We still don't know what's wrong, which is frustrating, and she's having pain in her lower back and is incredibly weak. They also has some fluid in her abdomen....we're all so stumped! Grrrrr...I HATE doctors!

Is the pain in the lower back something new? She should inform her doctor, as it can be an indication of a kidney infection - not something to fool around with.

I hope the antibiotics kick in and she is soon feeling better.

Thanks, Kikazaru -- she's going to a follow-up appointment tomorrow. She just starting having the pain this morning.

Thanks, again, guys for all your thoughts! I appreciate it soooo much!

Hey there! I just saw this and am sending belated well-wishes!

Fluid in the abdomen...lower back pain...Could it be an ovarian cyst that ruptured? It sounds scary but the fluid filled cysts are quite common and might be missed without a pelvic ultra sound.
Just a thought.
Hope she feels better soon!

Try humming.

I hope everything is well, Freckles, and that your sister comes home right as rain!

Thanks, Foinah...they did an ultrasound and things looked fine. With the snow storm we were socked with, her appointment had to be rescheduled for Tuesday, so we'll see what the doctor says.
