Or he will be, folks, if you go to THIS link and sign the petition.

Please? For me? Because it would make me (and my editor) happy? :D

I will only sign this petition if you edit "reoccuring" to the more eye-pleasing (and common) "recurring."

But to keep the thread from completing derailing, I think Heroes would be a perfect vessel for Wil. In fact, I'd love to see him come into it on the bad guys' side.

It's a shame, really, that I'm the only one posting here, because I wouldn't like a complete doof if there were other posts between mine.

How's that whole "stretchy pants" thing working out for you, by the way?

Ok, well, I guess I'll go cook a steak or something, in case Billy comes over. He loves steak.

If the petition were my thing that I'd written, it would have "recurring" in it, because I like how the word looks.

The stretchy pants are riding up a bit. I need to readjust. Please advise.

'oi, be nice to Wil. He's gone from, in my book, being that annoying kid actor on Star Trek, to being, in my book, a smart and interesting and literate person with an entertaining blog whom I can talk to about Neil Gaiman comics. That's all I need outta life.

If you're not on his myspace friends list, you're no one.

He was one of my favorite TNG characters, but only after the awkward "you're a whiny kid who shouldn't be on the bridge" phase.

Kinda like when Riker grew a beard and subsequent personality.

I still think of him as Gordy from Stand By Me. That was awesome.

He'll always be that annoying kid on Star Trek: TNG to me.

But then I don't know who Neil Gaiman is.

I went to college with the boy who played Davy (vomit boy). There are just some things you don't want to hear about the vomit-movie business...

I was gonna say "Who is Wil Wheaton?" But then I remembered I don't watch Heros, and therefore wouldn't care.

But good luck with that little man-crush thing. :)

someplace around here, anyone seen my keys?
thanks for the link PeeDee. I had never seen nor posted on a board like this when my husband introduced me to WWdN (that's WilWheatonDotNet for the rest of you) quite a few years ago. There was a forum called WWdNSoapbox that he ran and I got completely addicted to it. It was the Soapbox that pointed me here - someone had posted links regarding the Atlanta Nights sting of Publish America. Also got me hooked on Making Light.

Wil closed his forum and his mods opened a new one, I hung around there for about another 6 months but after a while started spending all my time here instead.

I still read his blog occasionally and have had him sign both books at the Vegas Trek con. Nice guy. Good heart. I hope he gets the role!

Hell yeah!

I mean, I don't watch television but I have seen parts of some episodes for this show and I think it's a good show.

Will should be a FBI guy who's trying to get the Heroes to work for the Government- by force if necessary.

Though I did dig Wil when I was 13.

Me too! He was definitely the reason why I watched Star Trek on a constant basis.

I signed the petition just for you, Pete...well, and Wil. :D
