American producers looking to become successful in the world of European filmmaking are seeking commercially viable British or Irish scripts from British or Irish writers. Looking for Comedies, Dark Comedies or Romantic Comedies along the lines of "About A Boy," "Waking Ned Devine," "The Full Monty," "The Closer you Get," "Love Actually," "Bridget Jones Diary," etc. Scripts should be smartly written, character driven, fit within a budget of 2.5 - 4 million US dollars and appeals to both top British and Irish talent and audiences. Not when you consider the staggering amount of email an ad can generate. Better to set up a temporary mailbox you can walk away from when it grinds to a halt, than screw one of your permanent addresses.
