Script pitched by celeb?

Do you think that if one could get a popular celeb to pitch their script, it would have a decent chance of being taken seriously?

If Brad Pitt really likes a script and wants to do it, the studio will put a lot more consideration, time, and money on that screenplay than a spec script sent from some unknown. So yes...however, this doesn't mean you should go sending off your script to every A-list actor in Hollywood...

Actually my list starts and ends with Linda Cardellini.
she was Velma on the Scooby Doo movies. Anyway she is my cousin's cousin. :grin

She probably wouldn't bring a whole lot to the table in terms of shopping the script to the majors. I'm sure she could help get a small indie made, though.

It might depend on who her agent is too...for now, bond with her, because you never know...if she hits it big and goes A-list, you've got yourself some good friends! Hollywood is all about knowing the right people, after that...you're set...
