Don't you just hate it when going out for a nice dinner only to discover you wound up with a really busy server? There's nothing more irritating than trying to impress your partner when you have spend most of the evening waving the server down to refill your water or some other task they should do without thinking.

What's your pet peeve with servers?

That pretty much says it all.

Another pet peeve is the people who came in behind me gets their server first and is served before my table. I guess this comes from having a restaurant and making sure the servers were at that the table within seconds of the people sitting down.

I hate it when your server goes to prepare the final bill and don't return for twenty minutes. Errr...

So that WAS you then.... You were the guy who pretended to be deaf.

"Get out, get out!" *smack smack smack*

"Hmmp nom bomomp jihi!" *insert fake sign language here*

How many times did I have to stab you with the fork? 2? 3?

i'm trying to exercise my "just-in-time" good judgment by letting everyone see it, and then deleting it before someone quotes me! :)

After I logged in a few minutes ago, I tried to enter this forum and the server kicked me out.

My sister & I came up for a real "home-style" restaurant where the servers would not let the customers leave the table until they finished what was on their plates, make them eat their vegetables, etc. etc.

but I came here because I can't get into my email... the server is too busy & it's been like that all morning.

Hotmail is a great restaurant when the server is not too busy as she is today.

I hate when I get that "file not found" error or "server busy" error and I've been getting that a lot here today.

[edit]drat! gpatten beat me to that joke by a few posts!

Fine.

OK. I hate when the waitress doesn't flirt with me. Sorry, no tip, honey.
