I queried an agency at the end of July. They asked for a few chapters which I sent. By last week, I hadn't heard anything so I wrote and asked if they wanted to read the manuscript based on the partial. I got a rejection and thought that was the end of it.

Today I have recieved a request for the manuscript from the same agency. The problem I've got is what I do next. I did submit to a name but none of the replies have come from any name, just the submissions department. So do I send the manuscript and hope the person who rejected me doesn't get it or do I just forget about it?

This is quite a nice problem but I really don't know what to do next.

I would definitely send the manuscript, and include a copy of the manuscript request along with your cover letter. That way, depending upon who receives it, they will know that somebody there did in fact request the manuscript. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I've never got this far so this is all new to me.
I'll let you know how it goes. :)
