Anyone up for a challenge?
I don't have the bandwidth or the inclination for Nano this month, but I am big on moving my manuscript forward.
500 words per day between today and Nov 30 means 12,000 words and that's a decent goal.
House Rules:
1. Everyday is a fresh start. If you didn't make the word count on the previous day, it doesn't matter. There is no making it up. Just do your 500 words today.
2. Start anytime. If you just saw this thread and we are two weeks into it, feel free to jump in.
3. No wailing or gnashing of teeth (especially someone else's) if you don't make it one day. Just keep going.
4. Report daily, or whenever you want.
What do you think?
I'll sit here and do this daily by myself if I have to with the world watching my daily literary angst/successes, but it would be nice to have some company.
This is not a substitute for the WPR, if you are doing that. Feel free to use it as an adjunct.
So, who's in?
Somebody say something.
